Creating a saved search with stock ledger details

Good day everyone! Would like to solicit some ideas with this project I have on mind. Anyway, I can get the values of the movements in and out of the item on a saved search like the stock ledger report but I cannot capture the Beginning On Hand details. Is there a way to pull the beginning inventory of the item in the saved search either standard or using custom records or scripting? Thank you!
