Permissions to access non-owned records
We have restricted our sales role to access only "owned and subordinates only" (set in the role under the field Employee Restrictions)
As such sales is able to access only quotes and sales orders where they are the sales rep.
We need them to be able to review the purchase order status for the POs created to fulfill the order. Of interest to them is the expected receipt date so that they can communicate with their customers.
We have granted the sales team view only access to purchase orders. However, when they click on a PO link, they get the error "Permission violation. The restrictions on your role deny you access to this record.”
