Work Order issue is it scriptable

I have a use case where there is a desire to add a column on the WO Issue to show the number of components already issues, when sucessive issues have been generated. Is that possible via scripting? I don't see a way to surface any columns in the WOI like you can on the WO that shows what has been used in build.
