Using Self-Service User license for Workflow

Hello Guru's,

I would like to know if it's possible to use a Self-Service user license for an employee within a Workflow.

We would like a Workflow to send a e-mail from a certain e-mail address. This e-mail address is a general e-mail address (info@domain.com). This e-mail address needs to be registered within a Employee record to use this within the workflow.
