Minus "-" ¥ notation method in Advanced PDF/HTML template

how do I add to Minus "-" ¥ notation method in Advanced PDF/HTML template?

ie. "-${record.total}" is written so that "-" is inserted before the ¥ and is shown as "-¥3,000".

then How can I display this as "¥-3,000"?

is it possible anyway?
