Question on Average Cost field: Item

Hi Guys,


Our company has HW inventory and as part of this when looking at Items there is NS vanilla field by the name: Average Cost (Field ID: averagecost).


This field is a moving target since it shifts according to the total number of inventory quantity.


We wanted to know if there is a way that we can capture the fields value in a report/search and trach the changes over monthly periods?
