Remove inactive locations from reports

Hello!

We previously had a multi-location warehouse setup with inventory being held at different locations. We have since closed all of them and marked those locations as inactive and inventory as unavailable for sales. However, the locations still show up in the current inventory snapshots. Is there a way to remove those locations completely from being selectable or showing up in reports to clean things up? I would think "inactive" would archive them in some fashion.
