Hi all

I have created a link on a saved search which users can click on to add a note, the search shows their open quotes/estimates and this is a useful addition:

When you click the link it opens a new note window. As they are doing this from a saved search the end users are asking for the note form to show the transaction number and company name at the top.

How is this achieved? I tried adding a custom field to the record type Note as per the below, but it never appears on the Notes, what am I missing here? I foolishly thought this would be the simple bit.
