SuiteAnalytics column negative scale issue

Hey,

I'm using ODBC connection and NetSuite2.com and running the following sql to columns metadata:

received:

TABLE_NAME; COLUMN_NAME; DATA_TYPE; TYPE_NAME; OA_LENGTH; OA_PRECISION; OA_SCALE

itemBinQuantity; onhand; 8; DOUBLE; 8; 38; -127

ItemFulfillmentPackage; packageweight; 8; DOUBLE; 8; 20; -127

Can anyone please explain what -127 means in SCALE ?
