Group Average Costing

If I receive an item in 1 location will it update avg cost in all others even if they never had any transactions for that item?

I have set up items with group average costing method

I have created location costing group

I checked the box in setup for multi locations and group average

My set up consists of 3 subsidiaries 5 locations

1 parent sub and 2 Child subs

I am trying to receive an item on parent level


Any help would be much appreciated.
