When to refresh Sandbox to see 2022.2 upgrades

I have been told that the release of the new upgrade, 2022.2, is not available in the Sandbox at the same time my production instance is upgraded. I want to upgrade the sandbox environment to test options in the same version. When should I look at doing this refresh? Our production environment was upgraded on 9/17.
