Company Bank Details - Connect multiple banks (with different currencies) with 1 account (COA)

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:30PM in Ask A Guru 3 comments

Hi Guru's

I've a little question.

We've created 1 account on our COA to combine all transactions of 1 bank.

But ... we have multiple bank accounts at this bank with different currencies.

And we would like to link these 3 bank accounts to that single account on our COA.

As a result, these 3 bank accounts are created under the currency that the account (COA) was created.

Will this cause problems in the future?

I suppose we will have to create an account on our COA for each bank and each currency (so in this example 2 accounts; 1 for EUR and 1 for USD), but we prefer to keep 1 account for each bank no matter what currency.

Howdy, Stranger!
