How can I identify those integration points HMAC-SHA1 ?

I have looked all around for references to HMAC-SHA1 but could not locate it. I have read through various SuiteAnswers but the focus is more of creating or recreating signatures, etc.

Is there a easy method to see who's using this or must I inquire to each integration partner if they use this or not ?
