breadcrumb trails are broken. "Page not found" happening all over the place.

If you browse normally on our website you get URLs like....

https://www.ourdomain.com/category/item-name-URL-component

If you click a category above you in the breadcrumb trail, it goes into something like...

https://www.ourdomain.com/s.nl/sc.2/category.199/it.C/.f

It's done that for years, but now it's a major issue. When on a page like the one above, all the items on that page load as "page not found". It looks like those broken item URLs are adding the item-name-URL-component to the category URL, like this...

https://www.ourdomain.com/s.nl/sc.2/category.199/it.C/.f
