How can I populate customer on customer deposit using Workflow?

I'm creating a workflow to have a button on customer page. Once button is clicked, it directs to create deposit page, and I would like Customer field to be prefilled with the customer where I created deposit from. The screenshot below shows State 2, where i had set Company = Company in current record, but somehow the customer field is still not auto populated. Could you kindly help me troubleshoot it please? thank you!
