Why does Lock AP affects the posting Date and Period of Depreciation Journal?
Hi,
Our customer is processing their month end process and one of the activities is to post the Depreciation for Oct 2022. On Depreciate Asset page, the date defined if 31/10/2022.
The on the period end checklist for Oct 2022, the Lock AP is now marked checked.
The Depreciation Journal was dated Nov 30 and was posted to Nov 2022 accounting period. Would just like to ask why does Lock AP affects the posting Date and Period of Depreciation Journal.
