How can I add a Sourcing Filtering Relationships Tab Data on Customer Form?

I've seen some other issues kind of like this, as is SuiteAnswer 90954, but I don't think any that are exactly the same...and thanks in advance if I've missed it or I'm just overlooking the obvious.
I need to add a custom field on a Customer form, where the user can select one of the Contacts listed in the Relationships tab of this same Customer. I've tried a variety of solutions but can't seem to get the list to do this...with any of my filtering attempts either ending up blank or with a list of all the contact in our system.
