Which tax software is recommended for US sales tax and used tax?

We started to use NetSuite in April this year. we just open a subsidiary in US this year also. we are a manufacturer and also a reseller. We anticipate business in US will grow rapidly from Jan 2023. With the complex taxes for each state in US, we would like to use a tax software that would help us to manage the taxes to charge to US customer.
We have not enabled SuiteTax, as I understand is irreversible once its enabled. its a pity we can't trial SuiteTax first.
- Is it true NetSuite is replacing legacy tax with SuiteTax in 2023? How does this impact if we decided to use third party tax solution provider like Avalara?
