What are the best practices for Multi Subsidiary Customer feature?
Hi All,
We have a customer lead who was created in one subsidiary, then an entity (opportunity) has subsequently been created for them. We have realized the customer should be in a different subsidiary.
There is a workaround where you can create a "dummy" customer in the correct subsidiary and then merge the 2 customers. To do this you have to have Multi Subsidiary Customer activated. Currently we do not have this activated.
Can you activate it, do the work around for this one customer, then de-activate it? Will this cause any issues with other customers?
As always Thank you for your assistance
