How to configure Inventory items so that related Assembly items are considered in Demand Plan?
Hello Everybody,
One of our customers is an manufacturing company which uses Lot Numbered Inventory Items and include these in the Bill Of Materials (BOM) of Lot Numbered Assembly Items.
This customer wants to work with Demand Planning. When creating a Demand Plan for a Lot Numbered Inventory Item, it always returns zero values. This is because these items are not directly sold but are a sold as a component of the BOM for the Lot Numbered Assembly Items.
Is there a possibility to configure the Lot Numbered Inventory Items to let Demand Plans look at the related BOM's?
