How to create a "temporary purchase order" then create "full registration" PO when shipped?

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:31PM in Ask A Guru 14 comments

After creating a purchase order, items registered on the purchase order may be split and shipped depending on the shipment status.

For example, if items A, B, and C are registered on one purchase order, item A may be shipped on 2022/11/20, item B on 2022/11/21, item C on 2022/11/22, and so on.

In this case, it is necessary to re-register three separate purchase orders from one purchase order.

In this case, is there any other way but to delete the original purchase order and create three new purchase orders?

We would register the purchase order as a "temporary purchase order" and then create a "full registration" purchase order when the shipment is confirmed. Is this possible?

Howdy, Stranger!
