Why is Global Account Mapping Permissions not working?

Dear,

Currently, I am trying to enforce that an accountant is able to create global account mappings.

Does there exist a list of permissions that are needed for this? At the moment the accountant has access to all accounting books & the global account map permission is full.

However, he is not able to select a accounting book on the global account mapping record.
