How to create Customer Profitability report using Advanced Projects?

We are a services company and we use subprojects to create multiple projects per company.

We're unable to generate a customer profitability report. We already tried the following:

  1. Reports>Customer Profitability - No Cost is showing.
  2. Reports>Income Statement by Customer - Not Cost is showing
  3. Reports>Projects>Project Profitability - I cannot group it by customer even though I followed the steps in SuiteAnswers ID: 78216
