Why is there discrepancy between Item Inventory and Serial Number?
Hello,
We recently discovered instances where an item with a unique serial number has an inventory greater than 1 on the bin on hand but that doesnt match the inventory at the item level in Netsuite.
In the example below the bin on hand for part SPO30TE/S/TH, warehouse STL SHRM is 2.
However when i look at the part in NS, it shows qty on hand is 1 for the same warehouse.
I tried to do some research on this and found the serial number 15153583 that is linked to the example part has an item receipt AND a bin putaway worksheet transaction linked to it. My guess is this is what is causing the qty of 2?
