How to create and apply a mandatory checkbox field on the sales order

I want to create a checkbox field for the sales order form which will be a mandatory field but I can't do it.

For example, the image shows that COA is a checkbox field but the form has no checkbox option to make it mandatory. Any help would be appreciated.
