How to read ACH transactions via API?

We have setup a direct integration from our custom app with the Netsuite API. We are looking to pull transactional data from our Netsuite instance in order to create an ACH file in this custom app. We need help understanding how to configure Netsuite to allow ACH, how and where to prepare the transactional data and where to pull the data from.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
