How to Fixed assets- importing the open balance for the accumulated depr
Hi all,
I'm having difficulty in making my link between my mid life assets(csv import) and the initial opening balance JE that contains among many other lines, my accumulated Depreciation amount. I can't find the JE in the Parent transaction field when going on the asset record. I saw the posting How to Import Mid-life Assets? made by another user. But what i think it`s important is the Posting Reference field, which is not editable under UI on the FAM Depreciation History record.
Therefore, when i run the asset register, the initial accumulated depr posted manually in my TB JE doesn't get pulled in. Help!
