Why is nlapiGetLineItemValue sometimes has a different format for what should be the same value?
A script we have is using nlapiGetLineItemValue to get the quantity for a line item. In some cases a quantity of 2 is returning "2", while in some other cases a quantity of 2 is returning "2.0". The documentation for nlapiGetLineItemValue just indicates that it returns a string, so both values are technically valid.
Can someone point me in the right direct as to why this method would return one value rather than the other?
