Can Suitelets written in Suitescript 2.1 use N/render?

Hi, I've been trying to use N/render on a Suitelet written in Suitescript 2.1 but it seems to make the Suitelet freeze and not allow saving. It doesn't throw any error whatsoever.

I tried removing any code that uses the render object and just maintained the N/render definition inside the define function, same problem. It's not explicitly mentioned in the docs that N/render can't be used in SS2.1 but it's under SS2.0.


Any leads would be really helpful, thank you so much!
