How to prioritize Client information over Project in the Item Fulfillment Form?

Is there a way to prioritize Client name over Project on Item fulfillments? The project is nice to know but we would prefer that our Item Fulfillments show the Client. It looks like its a one over the other, but I want to see if there was a better way to link the client.
