Crowdsourcing: Reposting old Intercompany Transactions

Hi team, I have a customer who used standard journal entries to post intercompany transactions in the past. Now they are going to start using advanced intercompany journal entries and advanced intercompany and since they have all the open periods they want to know how they should deal with those old transactions. I told them that in order to correct these transactions they should reverse and re-post them using advanced intercompany journal entries. Do you know if there is an alternative solution?
