How to partially Downsell Contarct at the end of the term?
Hi,
I try to solve the follwoing scenario in the contract renewals module:
- I do have a contract with a contract linie item that contains quantity 5 of an item.
- These items run until 31.12 of this year
- The customer now wants to downsell a quantity of 2 out of the 5 items at the end of the term
How is this best handled?
The manual says I need to create a return authorization. Certainly, I can do this but then how do I set the cancellation dates for this Return Authorization. If I set it on 31.12 it will create a revenue arrangement which refunds 1 day (as it assumes that I refund the last day). I also cannot set it to the 1. January of the following year, as this date is after the contract end date.
