How to map localization of multiple Chart of accounts to one account?
Hi there,
We are working with an external NetSuite partner for the localization of a new subsidiary in a new country and I would like to ask for some tips.
The scenario I would like to discuss is the following:
- New country has a very detailed chart of accounts, with more GL's than what we use in Consolidation at group level. Higher level of detail in the new country is needed for local tax filing.
- We don't want to add unnecessary GL's in Group CoA as they are country specific.
- Some GL's have a mapping of 1 to 1, meaning the GL of the new country corresponds exactly to the same at Consolidated level (no problem here). Possible to do via accounting context.
