Is that possible to auto-populate expiration date on Inventory Detail subrecord?
to save time and minimise human error, question was asked that if there is a way to auto-populate the expiration date on the inventory detail subrecord in an item receipt for receiving item /assembly build for assembly item/work order completion for assembly item.
My idea is that there will be a custom field on the item record to indicate the item shall be expired in x amount of days. and the function will take the {today}+x amount of days, calculates and populates the value on entry.
open to any other way to make this happen...
