How to Add Custom Field to Billable Expenses in Invoice

Hello.

Does anyone have a workaround on how to add a custom transaction line field to the Billable Items and/or Billable Expenses tab in an invoice. The custom field is showing on the Items tab but not in Billable Expenses or Billable Items.
