How to Print Only the Item Code When Show Display Name With Item Codes Is Enabled

Hi Gurus,

Currently when the "Show Display Name with Item codes" checkbox is checked, the item code gets printed on the top line with a line break followed by Item Description.

We would like to only print the Item code but not the description as we already have a separate description column being printed.

i tried modifying "item.item" to "item.item.itemid" but it keeps printing the itemid only of the first line item for all items in the transaction, Also "item.itemid" does not display anything.

Would appreciate if anyone of you have tried this.
