Why is Delete option still available after enabling Void Transactions Using Reversing Journals?

Our account is enabled for the Void Transactions Using Reversing Journals preference.

So void option is not available for the transactions like invoices, credit memos, etc.

But still, delete option is still there. This makes no sense because I think the delete action will be available only if the Void Transactions Using Reversing Journals preference is not enabled. 

Can anyone give me a reason why the delete option is still there?
