How do I pull the value in a formula (text) field in custom segment via API?

I have a saved search that pulls the custom segment and on the UI it shows the value in the custom segment. However, when pulling in via API, it pulls the custom segment value of 1,2,3 for each segment value.

How do I pull the value in a formula (text) field so that it pulls the custom segment text value versus the internal ID?
