How To: using a list to limit the available custom fields on item record
Is it possible to use list or multi-select to limit the available fields on an item record. We use a PIM for planning and maintaining product attributes. However, when creating a new item, I cannot come up with a way to limit the fields (either hidden or disabled).
For instance: if I was to choose a product type of 'sports' from the list, I (either) wouldn't see or be able to enter information into fields that don't relate to sports.
I'm trying to improve some things that were likely not configured in the best way, so if more detail is needed, I can provide that.
