How to Set up a Center Tab

So the main bar across the top is called the center. I want to add the Planning tab to my companies Supply Chain Manager custom role for demand planning.

I can see the SCM custom role currently has Shipping Center selected as its Center Type. So I navigate to Customization>Centers&Tabs>Centers but see that the Shipping Center center isn't there, if it's meant to be? That suggests to me it's default and I can't edit it?

This gets more confusing as I can already see that despite the SCM Role having the Shipping Center and the Planning Tab assigned to that Center type, I don't see Planning Tab on the SCM's account. See below:
