how to send a notification to the user whenever the amount field is updated in the Requisition in WF

Hello. I have a requirement to send a notification to the user whenever the amount field is updated in the requisition. Is it possible via workflow? If yes, can you please provide the steps to do it? I know it is possible via script but wanted to know if this can be done by the workflow. Thanks in advance.
