What is the Query equivalent for search.lookupFields in SuiteScript?

Hi, I am trying find the best alternative for search.lookUpFields using N/query, as the former only uses one unit of governance but using query.run() will consume 10 units which will be a big drawback for bulk operations. Please suggest
