How to Generate Qr Code in Advanced PDF/HTML Template When Using HTML Preference

Hi, Is there a way we can generate QR code when print preference is set to HTML at user preferences. For PDF the <barcode? tag in advanced pdf/html templates works fine, but is there a way to handle this for HTML? Please advise. Thanks.
