Only Show Last Subentity

Hi There


What transactions or records is the 'only show last subentity' supposed to affect?

Using the guidelines under this thread: https://community.oracle.com/netsuite/english/discussion/4319069/only-show-last-sub-account

I have set the maximum number of drop down entries to 500.. However, when selecting a customer on an invoice or in the customer card itself (under the entityid field) the entire customer hierarchy is shown
