Is it possible to use script on allocation journal entries

Dear,

Currently we are facing the following requirement:

  • if a journal entry is created based on an allocation schedule, the journal entry should have a separate numbering.
  • Is there a trigger/ way how we can identify that a journal entry is being created from an allocation schedule in BEFORESUBMIT?
