Costing Method Change
A client needs to change from average costing to FIFO. In the help it indicates that the existing items inventory needs to be adjusted to zero, inactivate the items, change the costing method, and recreate the items. Must the items be recreated or can we reduce the inventory, change costing methods, and then bring in the inventory for the existing items? Do we need to recreate the items that have zero quantity at this point in inventory? Is there a way to use the existing part numbers? What do we do about serialized items?
Please help!!!
