What to do when asset values are not updating?
Hello,
Issue:
Asset values were updated via csv import in April, although the asset has already been depreciating since January 2023. After running April asset depreciation process, the asset values did not get reflected in the journal and the old values were retained.
What should be the correct process for any subsequent asset values?
What is the purpose of Reset Asset Values and Precompute?
How can we correct the journals to have the updated values?
Will future depreciation apply the update asset values?
Please advise.
