Financial reports - Is there way to add a field current Date/Time to a Report to be printed?

Is there any way to add a field to a Report Template / Setup so that it prints the 'current date / time' so that we can see when a report was printed.

Often we waste time trying to understand why figures have 'changed' from a report someone printed, and knowing when it was printed would make is much simpler to find or explain the cause.

Typically (in Excel and other apps) it would be a field added to a page header or footer to display the current date/time (and while I'm thinking about this, the option for 'Page x of x' would also be useful for longer reports)....
