Is it possible to change the sort configuration(sortdir) of the N/Search object in suitescript?

We call the existing saved search via id in the Suitelet and run it and use the result in the logic.

But we would like to change the sort result by evaluating the user's role.

So, How can we do to change the sort configuration("sortdir") of the N/Search object in the Suitescript?
