We would typically set the 'Restrict Time and Expenses' option on most roles as it would not really be appropriate for staff to view Expenses of other staff members.

However, it appears that this restriction applies to the whole NetSuite system including financial reports such as Trial Balance.

Hiding these Expense transactions from the Trial Balance makes the Trial Balance report 'wrong' - these transactions have been posted and so should be part of the Trial Balance.

Is there any way to differentiate between restricting users from seeing other users expense reports, but still show all transactions on a Trial Balance?
